The Cape Cultural Collective (CCC) and Unmute Dance Company will host a free lunch hour concert at the Artscape Theatre Centre's Chandelier Foyer on Tuesday, April 7, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

The concert will feature a diverse lineup exploring the theme of freedom through music, poetry, and dance.

Attendees can look forward to performances by vocalist Cindy Gibbons, guitarist Keith Tabisher, award-winning spoken word exponents Vusumuzi Mpofu and Mfundi The Poet, and the incredible Unmute.

This event is the first of six concerts the CCC will host at Artscape this year as part of a growing collaboration, celebrating 55 years since the iconic building opened in 1971.

The 2026 concert series will include a second lunch hour concert in August and four poetry and jazz sessions scheduled between May and December.

Full details for the rest of the programme will be announced as the year progresses.

Do not miss what promises to be a moving and inspiring show. Entry is free.
