The 26th annual wheelwalk on Sea Point Promenade has been hailed a success as host Things on Wheels Charity looks forward to hosting a bigger and better event next year.

Kamile Abbas, the charity's founder and coordinator, thanked all 200 participants, service providers, and partners for their support on Saturday, April 4. ("Join the 26th annual wheelwalk: A charity event for empowering people in wheelchairs", Thursday, April 2).

"It was awesome. People really enjoyed themselves. The event started at 9.30am and finished at about 11am, but people sat until 1pm. They just had a fun time," he said.
