Century City Winter Night Market

Kick off the weekend at the Century City Winter Night Market on Friday, June 26, where Intaka Island comes alive with street food, local crafts, live entertainment and a festive winter atmosphere.

Expect an incredible selection of hearty food, from curries, paella, burritos, and fresh Asian cuisine to baked breads, cakes, and warm, indulgent waffles. Pair it with a local red wine, a creamy milkshake, rich hot cocoa, or a cup of aromatic mulled wine to warm you from the inside out.

The bar will be open throughout the evening, and there will be plenty to browse between bites, including scarves, ponchos and permanent jewellery.

Sip & Paint + Silent Disco at Iziko South African Museum

Mark Youth Month with an afternoon and evening of creative activity, music and cultural engagement at the Iziko South African Museum.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 27, and features a combined Sip & Paint session and Silent Disco in the museum’s historic setting in the Cape Town CBD. Participants can take part in a guided painting activity while enjoying a social atmosphere, followed by a silent disco experience with curated music channels.

The programme forms part of Youth Month celebrations hosted at Iziko Museums of South Africa, with a focus on creativity, participation and public engagement.

Attendance is limited, and booking is required due to capacity restrictions.

Puss in Boots at The Baxter

Treat the family to Steven Stead's Puss in Boots, opening at The Baxter Theatre on Friday. Packed with music, comedy, and colourful characters, the winter pantomime follows the success of last year's Jack and the Beanstalk and runs throughout the school holidays until July 18.

The Winter Wine Series at Time Out Market Cape Town
