African Gaming Championship

Africa's biggest gaming celebration arrives at GrandWest for four days of esports action. Watch top players compete in titles including Fortnite, Valorant, EA FC 26, Free Fire, Brawlhalla and Tekken 8, alongside the Nitro ASL Finals and the Call of Duty: Mobile Southern African Qualifier. Zoë Modiga Live

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Zoë Modiga brings her Did I Do My Thing? Tour to Cape Town for one night only. Audiences can expect an intimate evening of jazz, soul and acoustic influences as she performs songs from The Vault alongside fan favourites.
Mandela Day

Cape Town will mark Mandela Day with a variety of opportunities to turn 67 minutes into meaningful action. On Friday, award-winning chef and Salesian Institute Youth Projects (SIYP) ambassador Jenny Morris will welcome hundreds of volunteers to SIYP in Green Point, where they'll prepare thousands of litres of soup and hundreds of sandwiches for vulnerable communities across the city.
Also on Friday, Green Point resident, celebrity chef and author Zola Nene is inviting Capetonians to join Ladles of Love's Hands-On Heroes campaign at DHL Stadium. Volunteers will help pack essential nutrition and education items to support 20,000 preschool children from under-resourced communities across South Africa.
The spirit of giving continues on Saturday with the Mandela Day Langtafel on Bree Street, where one long communal table will bring people together over a shared meal. Visitors can buy food from participating restaurants or bring their own, while supporting Community Chest charity partners through food donations, fundraising and blanket drives.

Khayelitsha Fashion Week

Celebrating its 11th anniversary, Khayelitsha Fashion Week returns to Artscape with this year's "Trash to Trend" theme. Expect innovative runway collections crafted from recycled materials, emerging designers, cultural storytelling and a showcase of South Africa's next generation of fashion talent.
Cape Town Festival of Running

The Cape Town Festival of Running returns for its 26th edition with a weekend of races along the Sea Point Promenade. From the 50km ultra and 21km half marathon to the popular 5x5km relay, it's a celebration of fitness that welcomes both seasoned runners and enthusiastic spectators.
