If you've been looking for an excuse to gather family or friends around the table this winter, time is running out. Marble Cape Town's limited-edition Seven Colour Sundays Brunch has just two sittings remaining, bringing its colourful take on the traditional South African Sunday lunch to the V&A Waterfront.

Inspired by the "seven colours" often found on a classic Sunday lunch plate, the sharing-style experience celebrates vibrant seasonal ingredients, bold flavours and Marble's signature cooking over fire.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of Colmant Cap Classique before settling in for a leisurely afternoon of shared plates, featuring chef's snacks, fire-cooked mains, generous seasonal sides and desserts designed to linger over.

"Think about your classic Sunday lunch plate," explained Kelly Uppington, a team member during the brunch. "You have your seven different colours, your different vegetables and your different types of meats. That's what you can expect at our Seven Colour Sundays."

The atmosphere is as much a part of the experience as the food. Live jazz provides the soundtrack while diners are encouraged to slow down and enjoy long conversations around the table – a refreshing change from the usual rushed weekend meal.

Priced at R795 per person and R195 for kids, the brunch offers a menu built around sharing, from freshly baked breads and starters to Marble's signature fire-cooked dishes and indulgent desserts, with vegetarian options also available.

With only two Seven Colour Sundays left this winter, the series is nearing its close. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable Sunday outing, it's one of the season's more distinctive dining experiences at the V&A Waterfront.
