A ‘cracker’ of a show

OWN Correspondent|Published 4 months ago

After Cape Town City Ballet’s matinee performance of The Nutcracker on Christmas Eve, Artscape CEO Marlene le Roux went onstage to congratulate the company for their outstanding work and dedication. The Nutcracker sold out on the day it opened, a truly excellent way to end the 90th anniversary year of South Africa’s iconic classical ballet company. CTCB’s next season will be a varied bill in March 2025 that will include Giselle, Dane Hurst’s Requiem and excerpts from Raymonda.
