Experience South Africa's finest red wines at Caroline's Red Wine Review

Wine lovers will have the opportunity to sample some of South Africa's finest red wines when Caroline's Red Wine Review returns to Cape Town on Thursday, July 30.

The annual event, now in its 38th year, will take place from 5pm to 9pm in the Members' Lounge at DHL Stadium in Green Point.

Hosted by wine icon, retailer, and winemaker Caroline Rillema, the tasting brings together 90 of the country's top red wines, with each participating producer showcasing a single flagship wine.

"The event gives wine lovers, collectors and industry professionals the opportunity to engage directly with the people behind some of South Africa's most acclaimed wines," said Rillema.

Guests will receive a crystal tasting glass and a tasting guide on arrival. Wines featured at the event will also be available to purchase at a 15% discount.

Tickets cost R550 per person, while secure undercover parking is available at the venue for R70 per vehicle.

Organisers advise attendees that no food will be served, apart from cream crackers, and recommend eating beforehand.
