The Good Table, a communal dining experience, returns to The Gin Bar on Tuesday, August 25, bringing guests together for an evening of food, wine and fundraising in support of Ladles of Love.
The upcoming dinner is the fourth Good Table event, with the first three dinners raising more than R40 000 for the organisation.
A final winter-themed dinner is also planned for Heritage Month in September.
What’s on the menu
This month’s menu has been created by chef Marn de Bluum’s team and will feature a traditional shepherd’s pie and a vegetarian version, both served with a green salad.
Fresh ingredients for the dinner will be sourced through Ladles of Love’s Feed the Soil programme, highlighting produce grown through the initiative.
The meal will also include artisan bread from Jason Bakery, wines from La Brune in Elgin and dessert from Honest Chocolate.
Event details
The event will take place at The Gin Bar from 6pm to 8.30pm.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Ladles of Love.
Seating is limited to 70 guests, and tickets will not be available at the door.
Tickets must be purchased in advance through Quicket.
