The Cape Town Comedy Club will have 67 Minutes of Laughter on Thursday July 18 in honour of Mandela Day. Now in its third year in Cape Town, the show will be raising funds for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital. The line-up will feature Carl Weber, Stuart Taylor, Shimmy Isaacs, Sifiso Nene, Gino Fernandez, Simmi Areff and Mel Jones to name a few. Each comic is allocated a time on stage and at the end of the night all the comics’ times will add up to 67 minutes. DJ Roy Hendrix will also be on the decks on the night, playing a 67-minute set before the show starts. Tickets cost R167 and will be available at Computicket.
