InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town has received four accolades at the 2026 Haute Grandeur Global Awards, including Best MICE Hotel – Global and three Africa-wide awards.
The V&A Waterfront hotel was recognised in the following categories:
- Best MICE Hotel – Global
- Best Prime Location Hotel – Africa
- Best Luxury Hotel – Africa
- Best New Hotel – Africa
The awards recognise the hotel's offering across business travel, location, luxury hospitality and guest experience.
The recognition comes as the property begins a new chapter under the InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town name following its transformation at the V&A Waterfront.
Recognition for the team behind the hotel
General Manager Joanne Selby said the awards recognised the hotel's team and its commitment to delivering experiences that reflect Cape Town's hospitality.

The hotel overlooks Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean and has direct access to the V&A Waterfront. Its facilities include luxury accommodation, dining, wellness and meeting and event spaces.
The Best MICE Hotel – Global award recognises its offering for meetings, incentives, conferences and events, while the three Africa awards acknowledge its location, luxury offering and new identity.
