Cape Town locals have until Tuesday, October 6 to vote for their favourite V&A Waterfront retailer, eatery, small business and attraction in the 2026 People’s Choice Awards.
Twenty-one businesses and attractions have been shortlisted across four categories, with six finalists in the Small Business category following a tie for fifth place.

People’s Choice is the only category in the V&A Waterfront’s Neighbourhood Awards decided entirely by public vote. Visitors, customers and local supporters can vote for the businesses and attractions they feel have made the biggest impression on their Waterfront experience.
Voting is open until Tuesday October 6, with voters standing a chance to win one of five R2,000 V&A Waterfront shopping vouchers.
The winners will be announced at the V&A Waterfront Neighbourhood Awards on October 29.
