Iziko Museums opened exhibition, the Aluta Continua, which means “The struggle continues” in Portuguese, on Friday June 15 at the Slave Lodge, in Adderley Street. The exhibition commemorates the 1976 student uprisings in the Western Cape and the consequent wave of grassroots resistance organisations that contributed to the downfall of apartheid.
